Over the next few days, we will be starting another collaboration with a company (which will be announced in due time on our social networks). This will be the second time that we undertake this type of initiative with this particular entity, which brings us great joy. Prime Human Performance is a multilayered project that aims to integrate various intervention proposals so that our clients can grow, individually or collectively, achieving the goals they set for themselves.
Therefore, opportunities to work with companies are something we seek to cultivate, especially when these opportunities allow us to perform longitudinal work, as we will be doing in this case.
It is great to be able to conduct conferences or even occasional training sessions, but when projects like this arise, and we can accompany a group of employees for half a year and help them achieve their goals, we get closer to what we are passionate about in our work. The project in question will involve a cohort consisting of members of a corporation who applied and will be accompanied by us for six months. The goal is for each participant to get closer to the objectives they set for themselves at the beginning of this program. These objectives will always be related to their physical or mental health; or their ability to perform in their personal or professional life. On our side, we will guide these members on their journey, providing the tools to achieve what they set out to do. This will be done through the use of wearables for monitoring, individual and group consultations, and introductory lectures on the science behind the proposed interventions, for example.
Fortunately, in this case, there is a company behind this plan that cares about its employees and, at the same time, knows it will benefit from having fulfilled and happy workers.
Nowadays, more and more entities are promoting this type of initiative, and in our view (and following the principle mentioned in the previous paragraph), it will be essential for healthcare to adapt to this trend. The old occupational medicine, where each worker is occasionally assessed through an evaluation of their biometrics, vital signs, and basic analytical panel, is obsolete. Healthcare professionals need to work effectively side by side with companies, understand their identity, and help promote a culture of excellence within them by supporting their employees along their path to achieve excellence.
